About Us

The Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicating to encouraging, developing and promoting crafts and craftspeople in TN.

About TACA
TACA, the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists, presents a common voice for the many-faceted field of fine craft in Tennessee. TACA is a professional organization with high standards, committed to encouraging creativity and nurturing craft excellence statewide.

TACA Craft Fairs
TACA is best known for its craft fairs, each of which attracts more than 40,000 visitors annually. In addition to helping sustain the careers of Tennessee craft artists, the juried fairs provide an opportunity to learn about finely crafted objects and the artists who create them. Demonstrations of craft techniques inform collectors and inspire aspiring craft makers. Above all, the fairs provide an occasion each spring and fall to celebrate the work of the hand and the creativity of the human spirit.

TACA Biennial Exhibitions
Every two years TACA hosts a competitive exhibition of fi ne craft objects in a museum setting. The Best of Tennessee Craft spotlights work by craft artists that is superlative in concept, design and execution. The exhibition also provides a unique opportunity for collectors and museums to add extraordinary objects to their collections.
